Hand Carved Wooden Elephant made from Jamjuree wood which is native to Thailand.
This woodcarving is made in Koh Samui and the Lampang region of Chiang Mai, Thailand
By Kang and his family. Hand Carved from Acacia wood, coloured and waxed individually.
They provide employment for their extended family and Thai border refugees mostly from Myanmar, directly assisting many disadvantaged Artisans and their families.
Thank You for supporting them
Each piece is individually hand carved, so differences in wood grain will appear. Has been coloured, polished and treated. Tusks are removable and are made from plastic or Mango wood in larger sizes. Tusks are 5cm long.
Care Instructions: Wipe with a soft dry cloth to remove dust. This is a natural piece of timber that will continue to dry over time. Small cracks may appear spots during times of humidity, this is normal and not a fault in the wood. Use furniture oil to condition the wood if you see these signs, just like you would for outdoor furniture.
